i-Read is a very simple solution if you are in a situation that needs a magnifier glass to read a small printed restaurant menu in the dark for instance. It activates a screen with an enhanced auto-focus and brightness using your camera device.
Just point the phone closer to the text and it will automatically focus and magnify the words*.
A flashlight (torch) is available for dark places if necessary as well as a zoom magnifier for better details.
